The Americans Snubbed at The Globes

Golden_Globe_text_logo

The Americans didn’t receive any love from this year’s Golden Globes. It seems that the first season didn’t have any luck with the known award giving bodies but I believe and hope that their 2nd season will just blow everyone away.

We have repeatedly reported that The Americans has been included in most Top Ten Best TV Shows for 2013 so their 2nd season will have a higher chance of being recognized both by audiences and award giving bodies. The only thing that makes me smile is the fact that Amy Poehler and Tina Fey will host the show. Two comediennes that will sugar coat the fact that The Americans weren’t nominated.

Here are all the nominees for the Golden Globes, TV first, then followed by the nominations for movies.
