The photo above is from Keri Russell’s Felicity days after she chopped her famous hair off. Without her flowing signature hair, Ms. Russell is still beautiful. Now I really chose that picture to show you how excellent Keri is at keeping her sexy figure. The show Felicity ran from 1998 to 2002, after a decade (Russell is 37 years old) she still looks drop dead gorgeous. She may have added a few fine lines on her face but her body hasn’t changed, and that’s after giving birth to two babies!
Recently, Keri Russell was photographed picking up her son, River from school while riding a vintage bicycle through the streets of New York’s West Village. That’s one reason why she stays in shape. Instead of having a car take her around New York, she prefers to ride a bike. Walking is also one of Keri’s favorite modes of transportation.
‘Everyone should dance more. Everyone should walk more. I mean that’s one of the great things about living in Brooklyn and in New York.
‘You get to eat a big rich fatty meal but then you can walk home,’ the Felicity star said.
Keri also believes in having an appropriate bite of your favorite foods. ‘One thing you would be surprised to learn about me [is] that I eat everything,’ the star of The Americans admitted.
‘I, I am crazy for dessert. I eat everything. No one should be denied anything.
‘You should be able to have a little bit of everything, just don’t eat the whole thing,’ Keri advised.
And don’t be fooled by Ms. Russell’s downplaying of fitness. She is known to be a humble person, and although she says being fit is easy, she trained with a Krav Maga instructor to prepare her for her role in ‘The Americans’.
“Working out [this way] makes you feel fierce,” says Keri. “I tend to be very internal—getting on the subway and keeping my eyes down. But I would leave those workouts looking people in the eye, like, ”Sup,”
So what is Keri Russell’s fitness secret? Well, to be honest, there is no secret in getting in shape. All Keri does is work out, have an active lifestyle, and eating just about everything in right amounts. And I lied, Keri’s body did change, according to her: ‘I used to have a really good, plump butt,’ she shared. ‘Ugh – now my butt’s gone. I do wish I had my 25-year-old butt!’
